I had my first ever dance competition exhibitit at 32 and I can't for the life of me tell you if I remembered the routine or just did whatever. It's a blank lol. I bless my memory for allowing me to forget.
This is so real, I definitely have been in this kinda situation before!
Funny, I actually said to someone yesterday that I don’t stress any more, and I never really thought about it until that moment.
When I think about it, it has a lot to do with learning to not take anything seriously (I might’ve mentioned this before 😂)
Now when I’m faced with a stressful situation, I’m able to diffuse what would be ‘stressful’ by not grasping. With my mind I don’t hold it, I just let it be.
It takes practice.
I recommend the mountain meditation, Jon kabat-zin described it well in one of his books
I love the idea of not grasping onto stress. Not holding onto it. That is such an important piece of wisdom. It takes practice for sure, but the more we do practice, the easier it becomes.

Sometimes that blank really can be a blessing!
This was raw and real. I’ve felt that kind of blankness before—the body in overdrive, the mind somewhere else entirely lol
It was overload for sure!
Great article!! And I felt the stress of the experience hahaha. Thanks for sharing, hope to see more around:)
Thank you! It was a wild day. 😬😂
